How it goes
Confirm placement
Height, viewing angle, and bracket type are agreed based on your seating and the wall.
Locate framing
Studs, plaster keys, or masonry are found and the bracket is anchored into solid structure.
Mount and level
The bracket goes on level and the TV is hung, checked, and adjusted.
Manage the cables
Cables are run in-wall with a relocation kit, or routed through a paintable raceway when in-wall isn't possible.
TV Mounting in Bay Area homes
San Francisco and San Jose apartments often mean two things: renters who need a low-damage installation and older walls that aren't drywall. Both are handled — brackets are placed to minimize holes, and plaster walls get the right anchors.
Eichler homes across Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, and Mountain View have no attic, radiant-heated concrete slabs, and thin interior walls. Running cable inside those walls takes some planning, and floor-level routing is never done because of the radiant tubing.

TV Mounting: questions people ask
How much does TV mounting cost?
Billed by the hour. A standard mount is about an hour of labor. Cable concealment or a large full-motion bracket adds an hour.
Do you supply the bracket?
Either works. Brackets are stocked for common sizes, or use one you've already bought.
Can you hide the cables in the wall?
Yes, on interior drywall walls using a code-compliant power-and-cable relocation kit. Exterior and fire-rated walls get a low-profile raceway instead.
Can a TV be mounted above a fireplace?
Yes, with a tilting or pull-down bracket so the angle works from the sofa. Heat is checked first — some gas inserts run too hot for a TV directly above.
Do you mount TVs for renters?
Yes. The mount is placed to use the fewest holes, and patching at move-out is available under Wall Repair.
